EAST COAST TRAILER HIRE

Terms and Conditions
In the event of an accident, photos must be taken of the trailer and its load at the scene of the accident for the purpose of insurance claim.
If in the opinion of the Owner the Hirer returns the Trailer and has caused excessive wear and tear, or damage through neglect or carelessness the Hirer will forfeit their deposit.
The Hirer agrees to accept full responsibility for the towing vehicle, goods and contents carried in or on the tRAILER.
It is the Hirer's responsibility to comply with all regulations including load capacity of the Trailer and towing
The Hirer shall not exceed the Trailers gROSS VEHICLE mASS(gvm) WHICH IS 3400kg on a suitable vehicle.
It is the Hirers responsibility to check the trailer is attached securely to the tow vehicle AT ALL TIMES
The use of tie down straps provided, is done so at the Hirer’s own risk. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure the straps are in good order before usE.
The Hirer and not the Owner is totally responsible for the loss or theft of part or entire Trailer during the hire period.
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to park the trailer in a secure location at all times.
In the event of the trailer being damaged beyond repair, or stolen, the Hirer will be liable to pay the Insurance Excess of $500.
The Hirer is responsible for all traffic or parking offences as well as any toll charges incurred during the hire period and will pay any infringement notices incurred during the hire period. THE HIRER AUTHORIZES THE OWNER TO FORWARD ANY RELEVANT INVOICES OR FINES TO THE HIRER.
Driving the trailer off road or on beaches is forbidden.
Maximum Speed when trailer is loaded is 80km/hr There is no refund in the event that the Trailer is returned early.
Do not remove the loaded trailer from the tow vehicle.
The Hirer is responsible for having any punctures repaired before return or a $30 fee will be charged.
In the event of the tyre being damaged beyond repair a $100 fee will be charged.
Please return the trailer in the same state of cleanliness as when you hired it. If the trailer is returned dirty a $20 cleaning fee will be charged.
